Bitching

Alright so maybe i have just been in the bitching kind of mood, but my OTHER neighbor isn't crazy, but she has a little rat of a dog that she lets outside all god damn day! Every time i leave my house he comes barking up and makes a shit ton of noise. When you let him get close he will try to bite at your fucking ankles! Not to mention every time i pull out of my driveway i have to fucking pick him up and throw him somewhere because he will bark at my tires! He almost gets hit by a car every single day! I don't enjoy animal abuse, but i'm starting to think it's a good idea to just get it over with.....At least the owner has big tits...

Neighbor check

So i thought i would have a ton of stuff to talk about today, but the only interesting thing is that my neighbor's wife is pregnant. Well that is what he told me. This could be a classic Get into a fight and man says i'm leaving so girl says i'm pregnant thing. All i know is that the woman is crazy and if she does have a child...Someone should save it..

Christmas

   Well it is Christmas eve here and i thought i would just say Merry Christmas. I'm sure ill be posting about my crazy ass neighbor after tomorrow....crazy bitch.

Durarara

    I don't normally watch tv, and when i do i usually just dance around channels with nothing in mind. Also I've never been a big anime fan, but this one kind of dragged me in. The story is about an Irish version of the Headless Horseman only it is a woman and very modern.

Her name is Celty and she is looking for her head in japan. It is a really big web of story telling and i really like it. Also it is in English. I can't stand reading subtitles. I haven't finished the anime yet, but i actually really enjoy this one.

Men in Black 3

   So a few days ago i noticed the trailer for Men in Black 3. This movie is just a sequel to Men in Black 2.... which was made in 2002..Maybe it is just me, but i really don't care for all this re starting older movies. I know the series isn't that old, but it is more of a "it is dead" thing. OH and why the hell hasn't Will Smith aged at all....He looks the same as he did 10 years ago...Back to my point. The movie just seems like it has no place, and i would almost bet money that Will Smith will have his kids in it at some point. That shit is getting old too... ANYWAYS Men in Black 3...Pointless.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

   
  I wouldn't normally do a book review and i would hardly call this one, but throughout my morning trips to the bathroom the past few weeks i have been reading this book. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has to be the only book that i have read and actually enjoyed. It follows the adventures of an English man and his alien friend who have to leave earth when it is blown up to make room for a space highway. The 5 books in the series are full of witty conversations and interesting perspectives. The book is old, but it's humor makes me feel like it was written a few years ago. Surprisingly the first broadcast of the series was in 1978!

    A movie was made about the series, but it really is just a peak into the characters. I'm not one of those guy that is always bitching about books being better than movies either. All i'll say it that if you take a while in the bathroom maybe you should look into The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

The MMO Race.

So it is the start of December and that means we are only a few weeks away from the new Star Wars mmo. Now one thing i hate is when a new mmo comes out and someone says it will "Kill WoW". A lot of games have come and gone and World of Warcraft is still going strong. While it is true that a lot of subscribers have left WoW, the game still has roughly 10 million subscribers. I mean people say that it has lost a shit ton, but most games don't have that much to lose! Even after its giant loses it still has more subscribers than almost any mmorpg.

What i will say is that i think Star Wars will do fine. I think WoW will be going strong into its next expansion as well. As far as WoW dying goes, the only thing that will kill wow is wow.

Black Friday

  Short post today, but i thought i would just make a note of something. I went to my local mall yesterday to see if i could get anything worth while in all the black friday business, but instead i got a lesson...People are greedy... I saw grown woman run through a child knocking the small boy to the ground just so she could get a video game for her son...At some point...you are doing it wrong. I think ill stick to shopping online.....

Neighbor Troubles Again

   So if you have read my earlier post, then you know that i have a neighbor who has a crazy ass wife. I hardly know this neighbor by the way. We met a few weeks ago and ever since he comes to my house when his wife gets all nuts. The first "event" was his wife actually stabbing him in the stomach. I made a post about it if you want more details, but on Tuesday i was sitting at home about to go to sleep when i hear a knock on my door. I already knew it was a bad idea to open it, but i felt bad. Of course it was my neighbor. This time he didn't have stab wound, but he just said he wanted to hang out.
   
      We hung out for 30 minutes or so....It was mostly talking about his crazy ass wife. Anyway we were talking and i hear a knock on my door AGAIN. Well i open it again and two cops are standing there. I guess his wife called them or something ,but he went to talk to them for a bit. Then i heard a knock on my back door. That one was a little confusing. Well i got and open it and there is nobody there.

   After a small search around my backyard the two cops found my neighbors wife. She started yelling about something, but i wasn't interested. This isn't really the wildest story ever, but they took her away to jail AGAIN. The reason this is so strange is the fact that i have never met his wife. So it was really really creepy that she knocked on my door.

  I'll be sure to keep you updated on the creepy wife situation though...

Clayton Daniels

    So i was going to come on here and rant about Skyrim today, but then i saw a great story. This one is just too amazing to pass up. It is a small story about Insurance fraud and the most intelligent family i have ever heard of!

     It all began in 1997 when Clayton Daniels was found guilty of sexual assault on 2 minors. Molly Daniels(His wife) was for some reason still in deep deep love with him and decided to hatch a plan to get him off the hook. The plan was to fake his own death and start a new life together! Well just so they would have some cash Molly took out a $110,000 dollar life insurance policy on Clayton. Nothing seem suspicious so far!

    After the life insurance policy was taken care of they went to find a body. So off to the local cemetery they went! The obvious choice was to find someone around 6feet tall and 270 pounds to match Clayton, but they went with a little old lady who had been dead for over a year. 

 

     So they lit the car a flame and put the rotting remains of Ms Doubtfire in the front seat! Now they had to get the real Clayton somewhere safe and calm so he could lay low for a while. How about his house!? Clayton Daniels Grayed his hair and grew a mustache, he came home and told everyone around the neighborhood that he was Molly's new boyfriend!

    Well the cops arrived on the scene and trumped the case right away. They found no skid marks that would prove the crash happened, and they found that the fire was lit with lighter fluid and the front seat was the hottest part of the fire. BUT WAIT! Medical examiner Vladimir Parungao said he found small pieces of "Penis and urine" in the lap of the body. Parungao was taken to task by Burnett County officials for suspicions of laziness, doubting he performed an examination. Either that or Clayton Daniels won't be having a fun time taking a piss in jail. 

Shock Fight

     So i was reading about this wild "sport" that a very few amount of people are actually taking part in. A shock fight is MMA, but with 3,000,000 volt stun gun attached to your gloves. I don't really know who would take part in such a crazy and dangerous "sport", but the creator of this sport Michael Alexander calls it "the ultimate art of extreme fighting." There are no rules and no judges, just two guys and a couple of stun guns. Here is a small video of a shock fight.

   If you are looking to take place in an official shock fight, then look outside of the U.S. and most other countries for the most part. Because it is banned in all 50 states and most counties, i don't see the fighters making a huge amount of money. Shock fights just seem ridiculous to me, and i refuse to see it as a "True warrior's test", but if you like the idea of punching someone with a stun gun on your fist.....Go for it! As for me, i think i'll stick to normal sports for now. 

Simulated Mars Mission

   Today i read about a simulated mission to mars that had been going on for about a year and a half. I guess i'm a little late on this then, but i thought i would give my opinion on it. So three Russians, two Europeans, and a Chinese man were locked in this capsule for 520 days. This capsule had different locations for the simulated mission.

•  Medical Module: A cylinder that acted as the laboratory. It was also the sickbay were a crew member to become ill
• Habitable Module: The main living quarters. this area has beds, a galley, a social area, and the main control room
• Landing Module : This was for a 30 day landing operation where three crewmembers visited the "surface of Mars"
• Utility Module: Has four compartments, to store food and other supplies, to house a greenhouse, a gym,and a refrigeration unit
• Surface Module: This was use to walk across the soil and rocks of Mars, crewmembers put on Orlan spacesuits and passed through an airlock.

    The crew also had limited communications with the outside world and messages had a rough delay of about 25 minutes to reach the crew members from the outside.

      The capsule couldn't simulate everything obviously. A mission to mars would take about double the time(about 3 years), Living in a weightless environment which could cause muscle deterioration, Space radiation that could cause serious health issues, and the surface itself would be much different than simulated.

   So a mission to mars is not actually in the near future either. A mars mission would take around 20 years to actually get off the ground. So one thing that i can't seem to find out is either they are training these people for this event or just testing the human body as a whole. I mean having these people train for a year and a half is nice and all, but for twenty years they will be out of the conditions and they will age. As far as training the human body goes, i would say this is a major event for space travel. This makes us well on our way to reaching the red planet but is it worth it? We as a whole put a mass amount of money into space travel, but i think its just part of the human condition to want to know more. 

 My personal opinion is that if we want to send people to mars, then the training should start right now. Not these people who seem pretty old( I don't know the age of the people), but young people who WANT to spend 20 years of their lives exploring where no man has gone before. 

 

    Space travel is a very big part of our society now. Some people seem to think it is a waste of money, while others seem to think we should be putting more money towards it. I personally think that we shouldn't give up on space travel. There are so many new things we could learn from space.Well whatever you think one things for sure, Space is full of wonders that we just don't know about. 

   Maybe one day aliens will come to earth and share everything they know with us about space travel, but until then we have to take it upon ourselves to see what is out there. 

The Season of Games!

     So every year around this time something magical happens...GAMES! The holidays have to be my favorite time of year for the massive amount of games that come out. So i decided to name a few that im most looking forward to getting my hands on.

      The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword 

    This one is a no brainer for me. I've played Zelda since i was 3 years old. Most zelda games have a long and very nice story. I'm not a huge fan of the motion control, but i think i can get over it for this game. Nintendo promises that this will be the biggest zelda game to date, and i for one can not wait. It seems the have the rich story line and colorful characters I've come to expect from a zelda game with a few new things tossed in the mix! The game is set to release 11/20/11!

     The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

    The Elder Scrolls games have always had something unique about them. I'm looking forward to three things :the action, customizing, and of course the story. The game itself looks beautiful and i was a huge fan of Oblivion and Morrowind. The game is set to release 11/11/11 and i've got my pre order all set.

    Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

  Last but not least is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I am no the biggest 1st person shooter fan in the world, but i do love multiplayer, and the one thing Call of Duty is known for is the multiplayer. I've played the campaigns of 1 and 2, and while i enjoyed the story i never really got sucked in. I'm sure ill play the story once, but i can not wait to be back in team deathmatch!  The game comes out 11/8/11, So i'll see you online!

   I'm sure ill play a lot of games this holiday season ,but these are just 3 i can not wait to get my hands on!

Centralia, Pennsylvania

  A little late but i thought i would post my idea of a very creepy place to spend Halloween night. I live just outside of Pittsburgh so this place is actually within driving distance for me. Basically if you have never heard of the place Centralia is a small borough in the state of Pennsylvania. The thing that makes this small place a scary hot spot for Halloween is the fact that underneath it is a raging mine fire that has been going strong since 1962. Its unknown how the fire started but people have theorys. The main one is that a group of firefighters were given the task of destroying a near by landfill. They lit the fire as they did every year, but this time the fire wasn't put out right.

     
    The population has slowly dropped since 1962. Today the population is now 10 down from 1000 in 1981. If you go to Centralia the one thing you will notice is that some roads seem just fine and paved over, but some are all cracked,ruined, and smoke billows from the seams of the roads. Pennsylvania Route 61 has some abandoned roads doing just that. A few roads are even hot to the touch.

   Spending a night in Centralia to me would be like living a night in the game Silent Hill. The place is spooky and is just strange all together. Even looking down at a Google map of the place makes shivers go down my spine!

      So sure the outside is creepy and you would have to pay me a large amount of money to stay there for a night, but think about inside the mine! Readings show some of the hot spots at  187°F! Of course most parts are collapsed plus the Carbon monoxide and heat would kill anyone, but the thought of being down there for even a minute is a very eerie thought.

   


    Centralia at first glance may seem like a normal ghost town  (If there is such a thing) but my advice is that if you are looking for that eerie feeling or chill down your spine then take a walk around some of the abandon roads a night. I know i wont.

Dungeon Defenders!

   So i didn't post at all yesterday and i thought the best thing to talk about was the reason why. My buddy has gotten me into a game called Dungeon Defenders. If you have ever enjoyed ANY tower defense game you will like this game. On the other hand if you like being in the action this game is for you as well.

        Steam gives this description of the game: "Dungeon Defenders is a Tower Defense Action-RPG where you must save the land of Etheria from an Ancient Evil! Create a hero from one of four distinct classes to fight back wave after wave of enemies by summoning defenses and directly participating in the action-packed combat!"

   This game will make you look at the clock in surprise. If you have 3 good friends who feel like dishing out the low 15$ price tag, then you can just forget about any plans you have that day. This game is addicting and with content being added to the game monthly there is no reason to pass it up.

A Strange Night...

    So last night i was sitting alone in my house watching some movies. Over the night i had been hearing some noise outside, but assumed it was nothing. Around 2:11 A.M  i heard a knock on my door. I hesitantly opened the door, and my neighbor was leaning against my door clenching his stomach. He was clearly holding a wound of some sort, and i could see the blood on his fingers. I asked him what had happened and he told me that him and his wife had got into an argument. He told me about how she was talking about how she just wanted "us" time with him and how it slowly turned into a yelling contest. She started to throw kitchen appliances at him and he knocked them away and grabbed her. He told her to stop, but she kept yelling and broke free ran for the sink and grabbed a knife. She flat out stabbed him in the stomach!

    The cops arrived at my place and took my neighbor to the hospital. My neighbor's wife was still at her house watching television . She was taken away to jail where she spent the night. I didn't get too much information about it, but apparently she is going to live with her mother now. As for my neighbor he called me today and told me that he needed 42 stitches on his stomach. He is currently at home resting and waiting for court to settle. He says he just wants a divorce, but this kind of thing has happened before.

    This isn't normal activity for my neighborhood. I don't live in some "Redneck trailer park" or anything like that. This is just a story about something crazy that happened to me in my small  town where nothing really goes on. Well i guess you never know how people really act until you see the worst of them. All i got from this experience is a nice story and a reminder to lock my doors at night.

The Ring in real life?

      I came across a very disturbing story today. The story goes that a 57 year old Japanese man had been living by himself, and noticed a few things going missing. Small amounts of food,toilet paper, and random object being moved. To calm his curiosity he set up cameras around his house to spy at night. What he found was like some thing straight out of "The Ring"! The video caught a Japanese girl with long black hair crawling out of his cupboard wandering around and then going back into the cupboard!

     
        The man called the police assuming that it was a robber that had left already ,but  after investigation the police found no signs of forced entry. The police then searched the house and found a woman curled up in his cupboard! The woman had sneaked in and had been living off the mans food for over a year! It's kind of creepy thinking that he had been living for a whole year without knowing someone else had been watching him the whole time..I'm going to go check my cupboard now.

Hover boards not so far away?

Marty McFly may have not been too far off! This Video shows an object being LOCKED in place above a magnet. The science is a Sapphire wafer is coated in a thin super conductor layer and plastic wrap. This is then cooled in liquid nitrogen. The magnetic field penetrates  into a superconductor through a form of discrete flux tubes! The superconductor pins the tubes and locks the object in mid air! This causes friction less movement while locked in space! The object can even been tilted at an angle and flipped and wont fall! Looks like soon we wont have to go back doc.

Spirited Away

I thought i would talk about one of my all time favorite movies. Spirited away is a movie Written and Directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The movie is about a 10 year old girl named Chihiro Ogino. Chihiro and her family are moving to a new town when they lose their way and stumble upon what seems to be an abandoned amusement park. Chihiro's parents explore and come across an empty stall with fresh cooked food. They try the food (except for Chihiro) and become enthralled in it. Chihiro begins to look around the area and comes across a boy. The boy named Haku demands she leaves with her family. Chihiro races back  to her parents, but discovers they have becomes pigs! Scared she runs off and trys to escape, but its too late! Chihrio and her family are now trapped in the spirit world.  

Not going to give too much away but its a touching story with a wonderful art style! Although its been out for a while i would still recommend it to anyone!
